Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Digital Signage LED/LCD Engineer to join our innovative technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of large-scale LED and LCD display systems used in various high-profile environments. Your expertise will ensure seamless visual presentations, vibrant displays, and reliable operation of cutting-edge audiovisual equipment. Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot LED and LCD display systems, ensuring optimal performance and visual quality.
- Conduct network installation and integration of Digital Signage with existing telecommunication and computer networking infrastructure.
- Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Digital Signage, including LED/LCD panels, controllers, and associated hardware.
- Interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and wiring diagrams to accurately assemble and troubleshoot complex Digital Signage setups.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to design customized Digital Signage solutions that meet specific event or venue requirements.
- Manage Ethernet, VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol), and other network connections critical for Digital Signage system operation.
- Utilize hand tools and electrical experience to perform equipment repairs, upgrades, and installations efficiently.
- Be able to travel around UK for multiple different jobs
Requirements
- Proven experience working with CCTV systems, Cisco routers, Juniper devices, Avaya communication systems, and other networking hardware.
- Strong electrical background with hands-on experience in electrical wiring, schematics interpretation, and equipment repair.
- Knowledge of computer hardware components related to Digital Signage and network infrastructure.
- Familiarity with telecommunication protocols including Ethernet, VoIP, and related networking standards.
- Ability to read technical schematics and wiring diagrams for Digital Signage installations.
- Experience in network installation involving switches, routers, firewalls, and related devices for seamless connectivity.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
- Be able to travel around UK for multiple different jobs
