Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Powder Coater, where you'll play a vital role in applying high-quality powder coatings to metal parts and products.
Duties
- Prepare metal surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, or masking to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality
- Operate powder coating equipment including spray booths, curing ovens, and application tools with precision and safety awareness
- Apply powder coatings evenly using hand tools and power tools, maintaining consistent thickness and coverage
- Inspect finished products for defects or inconsistencies, making adjustments as needed to meet quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment to promote safety and efficiency throughout the production processed
- Follow safety protocols related to handling powders, chemicals, and operating machinery to ensure a safe workplace environment
- Familiarity with warehouse or manufacturing environments is preferred
- Prior experience with as a powder coater mandatory
- Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity for precise application of coatings
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed for equipment operation or material handlin
