Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in residential care setting, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
- Ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Handle laundry services, including washing, drying, and ironing as required.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any resident requests promptly and courteously.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management immediately.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report when stock is low.
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Follow infection prevention control policies stringently.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping roles is preferred.
- Experience in residential care homes/hospitals is an advantage.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleaning tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility in working hours, including weekends if required.
