Logistics Operative, Direct Vapes
Direct Vapes is seeking a reliable and accurate Logistics Operative to join our warehouse team. This role is focused on order picking, packing, stock control, goods-in, dispatch preparation, and the correct use of our Warehouse Management System.
The successful candidate will be hands-on, organised, and comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment where accuracy, pace, and attention to detail are essential. This is not a forklift-based role. The main focus is picking customer orders correctly, keeping stock organised, and supporting a smooth daily logistics operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Use the Warehouse Management System to process orders, check stock, and update movements.
- Receive, check, and put away incoming stock.
- Replenish pick locations and maintain good stock rotation.
- Carry out regular stock checks and support cycle counts.
- Prepare orders for dispatch in line with company procedures.
- Report stock discrepancies, damaged goods, or picking issues promptly.
- Keep warehouse areas clean, tidy, and well organised.
- Follow company procedures for handling, labelling, and storing products.
- Work safely and comply with health and safety requirements at all times.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, fulfilment, or picking role is preferred.
- Experience using a Warehouse Management System would be an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when picking orders.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work at pace.
- Comfortable with physical warehouse work, including standing, walking, lifting, and moving stock.
- Able to follow processes and work as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to support colleagues during busy periods.
- Good basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Experience in wholesale, retail fulfilment, FMCG, or vape-related logistics would be beneficial.
- A positive attitude and pride in doing the job properly.

Pay: £28,000.00 per year
