Payroll Executive | Cardiff | £30,000–£32,000
I'm recruiting for a Payroll Executive to join a Cardiff-based bureau team.
This is a bureau environment - you'll be managing end-to-end payroll processing across a portfolio of clients, so if you're used to variety, multiple deadlines, and switching between client accounts, this will suit you well.
What the role involves:
You'll take ownership of the full payroll cycle for your client portfolio - data input, audit and validation checks, statutory payments (SSP, SMP), auto-enrolment compliance, year-end reporting, and peer-checking colleague payrolls. You'll also be the first point of contact for client pay queries, so clear communication matters as much as technical accuracy.
What they're looking for:
At least one year of payroll experience, ideally from a bureau or outsourced payroll environment. You'll need solid end-to-end processing knowledge including pensions and statutory payments, the ability to manually calculate a payroll, and the organisational ability to manage multiple client deadlines without dropping the ball.
Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
