Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of breads and cakes with precision, consistency, and creativity, adhering to established recipes and standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients to streamline kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations at all times
- Monitor cooking processes to ensure optimal temperature, timing, and presentation of dishes before serving
- Collaborate with team members to manage multiple orders efficiently during busy service periods
- Follow all safety procedures related to kitchen equipment, handling knives, hot surfaces, and other tools responsibly
- Support baking activities when required, demonstrating proficiency in bread and dessert preparation
Experience
- Proven experience in bread production roles within a restaurant or similar setting
- Strong background in bread preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices for maintaining hygiene in a professional kitchen
- Experience with baking bread is mandatory
- Previous restaurant experience that demonstrates ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality standards
