We are seeking enthusiastic, reliable individuals to join our team as front of house Staff at our Dalton-in-Furness locations, The Brown Cow Inn and The Red Lion. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service and creating a memorable experience for our guests. Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
- Take food and drink orders from customers and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Ensure the bar area and dinning area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
- Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain knowledge of current menu items, specials, and promotions
- Assist in opening and closing procedures as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills to provide exceptional guest service
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Hours include a mix of day shifts, evening shifts, split shifts and weekends. 20 to 30 hours a week, Wage depends on age and experience.
