Senior Employee Relations Advisor ( Full Time, Part-Time also available)
Hybrid Working – 3 Days in Our Blyth Office as a minimum or all days in office if preferred

This is a niche and growing area of our business tha not only support our own client on this specialism but many other HR consultancies and teams. With this in mind we are looking for someone who wants to develop their knowledge and expertise in this area.
We’re looking for a senior-level HR professional with a passion for delivering high level employee relations work . A safe pair of hands. Calm under pressure. Commercially aware. Highly confident in managing complex, high-volume ER casework across multiple clients.
This is consultancy life. That means:
Multiple clients.
Different sectors.

You’ll move confidently between disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, performance management, absence and wider strategic queries too.
A hugh volume and high-speed HR background like retail, hospitality, or an HR call centre experience is a strong advantage.
You’ll be advising internal HR teams, business owners, managers and senior leaders, so you must be confident in delivering expert, clear, pragmatic advice verbally, face-to-face, virtually and in writing.
You’ll build trusted client relationships and become a genuine partner to the organisations and teams you support.
We are hands-on case management, so you will be rolling your sleeves up and multitasking across the full HR spectrum and will not shy away from complexity.
You’ll need to hold client boundaries; challenge appropriately and still lead with warmth and enthusiasm.
This is a hybrid role, with three days per week based in our Blyth office and the remainder worked flexibly to give you a work life balance that suits your needs.
Neurodiversity knowledge is an advantage for this role, but if you don’t have this, don’t worry, we will fully support you to build this expertise.
What you’ll bring:
- Extensive, practical employee relations experience
- Confidence handling complex and high-volume casework
- Strong employment law knowledge & expertise
- High volume and high-speed knowledge is an advantage
- Experience in managing multiple clients and competing priorities
- Clear, calm and commercially grounded communication skills
- Confidence advising and appropriately challenging senior stakeholders
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Openness to learning about neurodiversity and inclusivity in the workplace
- Ability to increase to full-time hours over the current year
