Overview
Join our team as an Aluminium Fabricator and become a vital contributor to construction and manufacturing projects. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming aluminium materials into high-quality products through skilled fabrication techniques. Your expertise will ensure that each piece meets strict specifications and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut and fabricate aluminium extrusions using hand tools, power tools and specialised tooling equipment.
- Perform fabrication tasks such as grinding and assembly to create aluminium products.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production.
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot fabrication issues and optimise processes for efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and proper handling of materials.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to verify dimensions, finish and overall integrity.
- Assist in the installation and assembly of fabricated aluminium products on-site or in the workshop as needed.
Skills
- Proven experience in fabrication and assembly.
- Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to read technical drawings.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and relevant tooling used in aluminium fabrication.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Ability to work accurately under deadlines, while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
