We at Shalom Nursing Home are currently looking for an Activity Coordinator to join our team. This role would be to provide a variety of meaningful daily activities for our residents.
Ensuring a wide and planned person-centred activities are carried out for the residents in the care home.
DUTIES:
Plan activities
Plan entertainment in the care home and outings
Arrange for schools and Nurseries to visit
Arrange a yearly/monthly planner
Make sure Activity notes are written up
Make sure all residents likes/dislikes and recorded.
Arrange fund raising events.
Undertaking any other duties that are within your capabilities and that would reasonably fall within the job role, and in particular to assist, if necessary, in maintaining the safety and welfare of residents within the Home
To show due regard at all times for the comfort, well-being and self-respect of all residents within the Home
Hours would be 4 days over 7, 10:00 - 16:00 with some flexibility required to accommodate outings.
Must Have Full UK Driving Licence held for over 2 years & be over the age of 21 years Old for Insurance Purposes
PVG clearance required (cost met by applicant)
