Resin Pro Cheshire is looking for an experienced self-employed groundworker to join our growing team, working on high-quality resin-bound driveway, landscaping and groundwork projects across Cheshire and surrounding areas.
We are looking for someone who is experienced, reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a professional team.
The Role
Typical duties will include:
- Excavation and preparation of driveways and external areas
- Installing Type 3 MOT and other sub-base materials
- Levels, falls and drainage preparation
- Installing edging, kerbs and block/stone borders
- Drainage channels and associated groundwork
- Concrete and general groundwork
- Operating small plant and machinery where experienced/qualified
- Preparing sites ready for resin-bound surfacing
- Loading, unloading and moving materials
- Keeping sites clean, safe and presentable
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Previous groundwork experience
- A full UK driving licence
- Good understanding of levels, drainage and sub-base preparation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good timekeeping and reliability
- High standard of workmanship
- Professional attitude when working at customers' properties
- Own transport to get to work/site where required
Experience with resin-bound driveways, paving, kerbing, landscaping or driveway construction would be an advantage, but is not essential if you have strong groundwork experience.
