As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation while managing a smooth and efficient kitchen environment. Responsibilities

Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing nutritious meals tailored for elderly residents, considering dietary restrictions and health requirements.

Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with food safety standards.

Train, mentor, and lead kitchen staff to maintain high levels of performance and teamwork.

Maintain inventory control, order ingredients and supplies, and manage kitchen budget responsibly.

Ensure all meals are prepared and presented to the highest quality and aesthetic standards.

Collaborate with dietitians and care staff to develop menus that meet residents’ nutritional needs and preferences.

Enforce strict hygiene and sanitation guidelines in compliance with health regulations.
Requirements

Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a health care or hospitality environment.

Comprehensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and dietary requirements for elderly individuals.
