Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of food production, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, from menu creation to staff management, ensuring that our guests receive outstanding service and delicious meals.
Duties
- Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure high-quality dishes are consistently produced.
- Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to guest preferences.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards in the kitchen.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food presentation, and hygiene practices.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs to maximise profitability.
- Maintain a positive atmosphere in the kitchen that encourages creativity and teamwork.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Strong background in food production, preparation, cooking, and presentation techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a positive work culture.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and best practices within the kitchen setting.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: £28,000.00-£36,500.00 per year
