The Role
As an MOT Tester, you'll be responsible for carrying out MOT inspections safely, efficiently and in line with DVSA standards, helping to ensure every customer receives an excellent service.
Your duties will include:
- Carrying out Class 4 MOT inspections (Class 7 experience is desirable but not essential)
- Identifying and accurately recording any defects or advisories
- Ensuring all testing is completed in accordance with current DVSA regulations
- Liaising with the workshop team regarding any repairs required
- Maintaining accurate MOT documentation and records
- Delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high professional standards
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A valid MOT Tester qualification
- Experience carrying out Class 4 MOTs
- Class 7 MOT testing experience (desirable but not essential)
- Excellent attention to detail
- A reliable and professional approach to your work
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A full UK driving licence
