Base Scotland is hiring a Duty Manager to join one of our 15 venues across Glasgow — spanning premium dining, pubs, bars and pizza restaurants. If you love running a great shift and leading a team, we want to hear from you.

What you'll do
- Lead and supervise shifts, keeping service smooth front and back of house
- Coach and support the team on shift, handling any issues in the moment
- Own the guest experience, resolving complaints quickly and professionally
- Monitor wage %, cash handling, stock control and opening/closing procedures
- Ensure compliance with licensing, health & safety and allergen procedures
- Deputise for the GM/AGM, holding keys and running the venue in their absence
- Support recruitment, induction and on-the-job training
What we're looking for
- Previous supervisory or management experience in a bar, restaurant or pub
- Confident leading a team under pressure, hands-on and floor-first
- Good understanding of licensing law, health & safety and allergens
- Personal licence holder preferred (or willing to obtain)
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and events
