We are looking for a professional, reliable and personable weekend kitchen porter to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, dependable, friendly, and have a can-do attitude
This is a part time position consisting of two 8-hour days, from 09:00 until 17:00 Saturday and/or Sunday at £12.93 per hour
The duties of the kitchen porter ensure that the kitchen is kept clean and free of debris in line with the Club's Environments and Health and Safety policies. The kitchen porter will report to the Head Chef or in their absence, the deputy. The duties include;
- Cleaning pots and pans, dishes and all other utensils as instructed by the Chef
- Cleaning and washing down the kitchen at the end of service.
- Cleaning all other equipment when requested
- Preparation of vegetables if requested
- Storing of produce in the correct areas if requested
- Inform Chef of stock levels of chemicals and cleaning materials and when replacement stock is required
- Ensuring at the end of service, kitchen is left in a clean and tidy state
- You will be expected to undertake any other reasonable tasks that your line manager requests
This is a unique role which would suit candidates who pride themselves on the highest standards and truly exceptional customer service. Training, uniform and meals on shifts are provided.
