Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Nursery Deputy Manager to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Assist the Nursery Manager in coordinating daily nursery activities and ensuring smooth operational flow
- Support the planning and implementation of engaging educational programs tailored to children's developmental needs
- Supervise nursery staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and leadership to promote a motivated team environment
- Ensure all health and safety policies are strictly followed, maintaining a secure environment for children and staff
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on children's progress and addressing concerns promptly
- Oversee child supervision during activities, meal times, and outdoor play to promote safety and well-being
- Contribute to maintaining accurate records related to children's development, attendance, and regulatory compliance
Skills
- Strong management and leadership abilities to guide a team effectively
- Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with children, parents, and team members
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with organization and enthusiasm
- Valid driving license preferred for transportation duties or off-site activities

Pay: £32,000.00-£33,000.00 per year

- Childcare: 5 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Experience of SEN and DSL (required)
