£180 per day / £900 per week PAYE
Monday–Friday | No Multidrop | Permanent Vehicle
We are looking for an experienced, reliable and professional HGV Class 2 (Category C) Day Driver to join our team.
This is a full-time, permanent PAYE position carrying out general haulage collections and deliveries. This is not multidrop work.

Your Responsibilities
- Collecting and delivering various consignments throughout the UK
- Completing collections and deliveries within agreed time constraints
- Ensuring loads are transported safely and securely
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Keeping in regular contact with the transport office throughout the day
- Completing all required paperwork correctly
- Maintaining a professional and courteous attitude when dealing with customers
- Looking after your allocated vehicle and keeping it clean and presentable
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- Full UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence
- Minimum 2 years' Class 2 driving experience
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence
- Good geographical knowledge
- Very good spoken English and communication skills
- Good understanding of drivers' hours and Working Time regulations
- Ability to work to collection and delivery deadlines
- A reliable, punctual and professional approach to work
- General haulage experience would be an advantage
