Turn a great trial into a confident "yes"
Robocode teaches coding, robotics, AI and game development to children aged 6 to 17. Families come to us worried that their child is drifting or spending too long on a screen, and they leave with a child who has direction and a real qualification to work toward.
This role owns the moment families decide to join, and everything that brings them through the door in the first place. You will host families at their Free Tech Assessment (our trial session), recommend the right course honestly, close enrolments, and run all of the centre's local marketing: newsletter, social media, events and school partnerships.
This is not cold calling and it is not hard selling. The product genuinely sells itself in the room. Your job is to host families brilliantly, listen properly, and make saying yes easy and clear.
What you'll do
- Host families at their Free Tech Assessment: welcome them, run the demos, guide the child through the assessment, and walk parents through the right course on the day, in person
- Recommend honestly: match the child to the right pathway, even when that is the simpler option. Parents trust us because we never oversell
- Close enrolments on the day where it is right to: course, day and time, price and start date agreed, sign-up completed before the family leaves
- Follow up promptly and warmly with every family who wants to think it over, and run our no-show follow-up process without fail, so nobody slips through the gaps
- Explain pricing clearly, including our funded-price route for eligible families on Universal Credit
- Own the centre's newsletter, social media and local advertising, using real classes and real achievements rather than stock content
- Plan open days, community events and holiday camp promotion, and build school partnerships that generate referrals
- Keep clean CRM records and report weekly on enquiries, bookings, show rate, conversion and enrolments against target
What we're looking for
- Experience in consultative, relationship-led sales: education, childcare, memberships, gyms, property, retail or similar all transfer well
- Genuinely good with people, parents and children alike: calm, warm, articulate and trustworthy
- Comfortable working to weekly targets and following a clear, repeatable process
- Comfortable with practical marketing: writing content, running social channels, putting a newsletter together
- Organised, resilient, and quick to follow up
- Available to work weekends and weekday evenings, when families visit
- Right to work in the UK
Nice to have: experience selling a considered, higher-value purchase; familiarity with a CRM and WhatsApp-based follow-up; an interest in education or technology. None of these are essential. We will train you fully on the product and the process.
What we offer
- Competitive salary, depending on experience
- Full training on our courses, our trial process and our story
- A role where your impact on growth is visible
- A modern, well-equipped centre and a supportive, mission-led team
