Assembly Operator
Location: Stafford Park, Telford
Contract Type: Temp, on going OR Temp to Perm.
Hours: Monday to Friday - 07:45 - 16:45.
Pay Rate: £12.76 - £13.50 per hour ( DOE)
Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and detail-oriented Assembly Operator to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Telford. This opportunity offers stable working hours and the chance to gain valuable experience within a supportive manufacturing environment.
The successful applicant will be responsible for assembling components and products to a high standard, following work instructions and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembling products and components in line with specifications and drawings
- Using hand tools and basic power tools safely and correctly
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure finished products meet required standards
- Following standard operating procedures and health & safety guidelines
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Working collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets
- Reporting faults, defects, or issues to the relevant department
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an assembly, manufacturing, or production environment is desirable
- Good attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
