North Lincolnshire Council is seeking a motivated and committed Social Worker to join our Children and Families Service.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with children, young people and their families, undertaking assessments, care planning and interventions that support positive outcomes. The successful candidate will manage a caseload of children in need, children subject to child protection plans and children in care, working alongside partner agencies to safeguard and promote the welfare of children. The role includes undertaking assessments, preparing reports, participating in multi-agency meetings and supporting families through effective relationship-based practice.
About You
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Social Worker who:

Is qualified and registered with Social Work England.

Has experience of working with children, young people and their families.

Has knowledge of relevant legislation, safeguarding practice and child development.

Can build effective relationships with children, families and partner agencies.

Has strong assessment, communication and report-writing skills.

Can manage their workload effectively and work both independently and as part of a team.

Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to their own transport, as travel across North Lincolnshire is required.

Has the right to work in the UK.

The role involves regular travel throughout North Lincolnshire and work within family homes and community settings.
