Job Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled Painting and Decorating professional to join our team. We carry out works within the new build housing sector along with commercial contracts within Fife, Edinburgh, East and West Lothian areas, all personnel are self employed and on price work. All candidates must have a valid CSCS card and required tools to carry out the required works.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by filling cracks and holes.
- Apply paint or other finishes to various surfaces.
- Be willing to carry out minor Ames Taping when required.
- Use brushes, rollers, or spray equipment for painting
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and client specifications
Skills
- Proficient in English to communicate effectively with team members and clients
- Ability to drive to different job sites (however not desirable depending on where you stay).
- Strong painting skills with an eye for detail along with working to deadlines and working on your own.
- Previous experience in painting and decorating is desirable but not essential
