Overview
We are seeking a qualified Electrician to wire a kitchen and a couple other items on a property refurbishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems. Responsibilities
- Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in accordance with safety regulations and technical specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installation and repair tasks
- Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety standards and regulations
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to ensure timely completion of projects
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections carried out
Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation or maintenance (e.g., City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3) are highly desirable
- Proven experience as an Electrician or similar role with a solid understanding of electrical systems
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for electrical work
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Valid UK driving licence
