Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Coventry for a General Manager. The General Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure the efficient management of the venue, and foster a positive experience for all customers and staff. Responsibilities include managing budgets, supervising staff, ensuring compliance with safety standards, driving business growth through marketing and events, and maintaining positive community relationships. The General Manager will provide leadership to ensure exceptional service and promote the success of the venue.
Qualifications
Proven managerial experience in operations, staff supervision, and business administration
Skills in customer service, team leadership, and conflict resolution
Knowledge of budget management, sales, and revenue generation
Familiarity with marketing, promotional activities, and event management
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Ability to maintain health and safety compliance within the facility
Passion for providing excellent customer experiences
Previous experience in the sports or leisure industry is an advantage
