Duties
- Assist residents or clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Support individuals in engaging with daily activities, including meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Follow personalized care plans to ensure each person’s specific needs are met effectively
- Maintain clear communication with team members, residents, and family members to promote well-being and safety
- Use IT systems to document care activities accurately and update records regularly
- Drive or accompany clients on outings or appointments when required, ensuring safe transportation
- Contribute to creating a warm, respectful environment that promotes independence and dignity
Skills
- Strong communication skills in English to interact confidently with residents, families, and team members
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and adapt support as needed
- Basic IT literacy for documentation and record keeping
- Valid driving license preferred for home care roles involving transportation responsibilities
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous but not essential—training will be provided
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with clients and colleagues
- Awareness of health and safety procedures relevant to caregiving environments
