Overview
We are currently seeking experienced HGV Drivers and Van Drivers to join our dynamic logistics team. This role involves the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various locations, ensuring timely deliveries and excellent customer service. The ideal candidates will possess strong driving skills, a professional attitude, and the ability to handle physical tasks associated with warehouse operations. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, offering an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a reputable organisation.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate HGV lorries or vans in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet schedules
- Load and unload goods, often involving heavy lifting, with care to prevent damage or injury
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and customers regarding delivery times or delays
- Assist with warehouse duties as required, including stock organisation and inventory checks
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures during driving and warehouse activities
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with HGV or van licences
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving and logistics operations is desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during loading/unloading processes
- Strong communication skills for liaising with team members and clients
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
- Physical fitness to handle demanding tasks associated with the role

Pay: £2,400.00-£3,400.00 per month
