Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Dog Grooming Assistant to join our professional pet care team. This role involves supporting groomers in delivering high-quality grooming services, ensuring the comfort and safety of our canine clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the physical capability to handle the demands of the position. Responsibilities
- Assist groomers with: bathing, drying, brushing, clipping nails, and clipping/deshedding/handstripping dogs’ coats.
- Support with cleaning and sanitising grooming tools and work areas to maintain hygiene standards
Experience
- Level 2 dog grooming qualification is needed as a minimum
- Prior dog grooming experience is preferred but not essential
- Experience working with animals, particularly dogs, is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with clients
- A genuine love for animals, combined with patience and attention to detail, is essential for success in this role
Pay: £13.00 per hour
