Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional hairdressing services, including colour, styling, and specialised treatments.
Ongoing training with L’Oréal with the opportunity to do the colour specialist qualification.
Basic rate pay or commission based depending on the greater. Holiday pay and sick pay.
Duties
- Provide a wide range of hairdressing services including cuts, colour, styling, and specialised treatments such as eyelash extensions and makeup application.
- Offer personalised consultations to understand clients’ needs and recommend suitable styles or treatments.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the salon environment.
- Upsell additional products and services to enhance client satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities.
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently
- Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service, fostering loyalty and repeat business.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and product knowledge in hairdressing and beauty services.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or Barber with a strong portfolio of work.
- Skills in store management, front desk operations, and upselling are highly desirable.
- Certification or qualification in hairdressing, barbering, or related fields is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with clients and team members.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage appointments efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
