Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable, experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role involves a mix of local and national general haulage. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, professional, and willing to be hands-on when the job requires it.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operating a Class 1 vehicle for local and national general haulage deliveries.
- Assisting with loading and unloading vehicles when required.
- Managing driving hours and break times in full compliance with tachograph regulations.
- Completing vehicle daily walk-around checks and reporting any defects.
- Maintaining flexible availability to accommodate early starts, late finishes, and occasional overnight tramping.
