As our company continues to grow, we are seeking a Commercial Plumbing Engineer/ Gas Engineer for our defence team on MoD sites at BRNC Dartmouth, to assist with delivery of our contracts. Working on primarily on Heating and plumbing system upgrades, strip out existing heating & hot water systems, install new complete systems including Radiators, valves, pipe work controls,
The Role
The main roles and responsibilities of the Plumber / Multi-Trade Operative will include, but are not limited to:
Working primarily on heating and plumbing system upgrades, including stripping out existing heating and hot water systems and installing new complete systems including radiators, valves, pipework, controls, and all other associated elements in an efficient and safe manner, in accordance with company Health & Safety policy, Safe Systems of Work, and current regulations.
The role will also involve carrying out general handyman and carpentry works, including basic repairs, maintenance, fitting, installation work, boxing-in, door adjustments, kitchen and bathroom repairs, and other associated multi-trade tasks as required.
You will have an analytical approach to work, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. You will possess an organised, calm, and adaptable nature, enabling you to deal effectively with a variety of situations and tasks while working under pressure.

Technical Experience & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a trade background with experience in commercial plumbing, heating, HVAC maintenance services, and general property maintenance. Experience in handyman and carpentry works is also desirable.
Applicants should hold an industry-recognised qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or formal apprenticeship), possess a full UK driving licence, and demonstrate a solid understanding of Health & Safety and safe working practices. Gas qualifications are preferred but are not essential for this role.
