Job Role
An exciting opportunity is available to join our company as a Mechanical Draughtsman/woman to work alongside an established design engineer.
The successful candidate will be required to assist the team in the design of Industrial equipment and Amusement Ride/Arcade Game equipment and bespoke machinery.
- Job Title – Mechanical Draughtsman/woman.
- Location – Merthyr Tydfil.
- Probation Period - 3 months.
- Employment Type -Permanent, Full Time.
- Holiday Entitlement – 20 days plus Bank Holidays.
Essential Attributes:
- Experience using Autodesk Inventor.
- Candidates must demonstrate a high attention to detail.
- The ability to manage large volumes of files and drawings.
- Full clean driving licence is advantageous.
- Experience in Machine Building, Fabrication and Sheet Metal design.
- Produce Fabrication Drawings to be sent to suppliers.
Candidates will also need:
- To be highly motivated & reliable.
- The ability to complete tasks accurately to agreed timescales.
- Good written and verbal communication skills to complete paperwork and understand tasks.
- To work well independently and also as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
· 3D CAD design using Autodesk Inventor.
· Communicates effectively with all team members, leads, builders, engineers and Project Manager.
· The ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
· Produce fabrication drawings to be sent to external fabricators for production of parts.
Details
- Hours of work: 8.00 to 16.30 Monday to Friday.
- Overtime may be required if the need arises.
Starting Salary will reflect candidate's experience.
Immediate Start for the right candidate.

Pay: £26,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
