Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with precision and creativity, ensuring consistent quality and presentation
- Follow established recipes and food safety protocols to maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation
- Assist in meal preparation for different service times, including , lunch, and dinner shifts
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Support the serving staff by ensuring timely delivery of freshly prepared food items
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when stock needs replenishing
- Collaborate with team members to optimize kitchen workflow and enhance overall service efficiency
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety regulations, and sanitation practices
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, tools, and proper handling procedures
- Previous experience in meal preparation for diverse menus preferred
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and serve guests effectively
- Prior experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn
