We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter and Decorator to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes with skill and attention to detail
- Use a variety of tools including brushes, rollers, spray guns, and scaffolding to complete projects efficiently
- Collaborate with clients and project managers to understand design preferences and project requirements
- Maintain a safe working environment by following health and safety regulations at all times
- Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines without compromising quality
- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure flawless finishes and address any touch-ups needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction painting and decorating or related fields
- Valid driving license to travel between multiple job sites as required
- Strong communication skills in English for effective collaboration with team members and clients
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and safety instructions accurately
- Excellent manual dexterity with an eye for detail and precision in finishing work
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to working at heights and handling paints or chemicals
- Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with various painting techniques, wallpaper installation, and experience working on diverse property types

Pay: £14.50-£23.34 per hour
