Talbots Law is expanding its Trusts & Estates Department in Coventry. We are looking for a Paralegal to join our growing team and support our specialists in delivering exceptional service to clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their legal career within Private Client law. While previous practical experience in Trusts & Estates is advantageous, we will consider applicants with no legal work experience who can demonstrate the skills, attitude and commitment required to succeed in the role. You'll gain exposure to a broad range of wills, probate and estate administration matters, working alongside experienced colleagues who will support your development.

What does the job involve?
- Providing administrative and case management support to the Trusts & Estates team.
- Administering client matters using our SOS case management system.
- Speaking with prospective clients and assisting with initial enquiries delivering excellent client care and customer service throughout the client journey.
- Assisting with the preparation of wills and lasting powers of attorney.
- Supporting fee earners with straightforward estate administration matters, including probate applications.
- Assisting with the collection and administration of estate assets and distributions.
- Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring compliance with internal processes.
What do you need?
- An interest in pursuing a career in Private Client law, particularly wills, probate and estate administration.
- Passion for delivering outstanding client care and service along with excellent interpersonal and team-working skills.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate work.
- Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Previous legal experience is welcome but not essential. We encourage applications from individuals who can demonstrate transferable skills and a genuine interest in this area of law.
