This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Restaurant Manager to join a boutique 4 star hotel with a refined restaurant and a welcoming bar and lounge operation. The property delivers a high level of hospitality in an intimate setting, with a strong focus on personal service, attention to detail and memorable guest experiences.
The restaurant operates at around 30 covers and is focused on service standards of multiple AA Rosette level. This role would suit someone from a high quality restaurant, luxury hotel, Michelin or Rosette background who understands the pace, precision and warmth needed to deliver exceptional food and beverage service.
As Restaurant Manager, you will lead a small team of around 10, taking responsibility for the day to day running of the restaurant, bar and lounge. You will need to be hands on, guest facing and confident creating a polished service culture, while supporting training, standards, rotas, stock control and team development.
The hotel is part of a wider hospitality group with five high level restaurants and hotels, offering genuine progression and development for someone ambitious.
You must be able to drive due to the location. Accommodation support may be available, but there is no live in accommodation on site.

Restaurant Manager Ideal Profile:

Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager or strong Food and Beverage leader

Background in a Michelin, AA Rosette, luxury hotel or high quality restaurant environment

Confident leading a small, intimate team and maintaining polished service standards

Passionate about hospitality, guest experience and making people feel special

Strong food and beverage knowledge, with WSET Level 2 desirable

Hands on and guest facing, with excellent communication and attention to detail

Able to drive due to the location and accommodation arrangements
Restaurant Manager Responsibilities:

Lead the day to day running of the restaurant, bar and lounge operation

Deliver warm, polished and professional service in line with high level dining standards

Manage service flow, guest experience, reservations, complaints and special requests

Train, coach and develop the food and beverage team to maintain confidence and consistency

Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure strong menu knowledge and smooth communication

Support rotas, stock control, wine list standards, supplier quality and service profitability

Maintain high standards across cleanliness, presentation, health and safety, food hygiene and allergens

Contribute to a positive team culture built around quality, care and memorable hospitality
