Afternoon Tearoom
The Tea Tree is a modern‑vintage English tearoom offering elegant afternoon teas, refined service, and beautifully crafted drinks. We are seeking a fast, polished Tea, Coffee & Seasonal Drinks Server who can prepare loose‑leaf teas, espresso‑based coffees, and simple seasonal drinks ; all with speed, consistency, and beautiful presentation.
This role suits someone who enjoys a busy environment while maintaining calm, grace, and high standards.
Role Overview
You will lead our FOH drinks station, preparing teas, coffees, iced drinks, and seasonal specials. You will support afternoon tea service, deliver drinks quickly and elegantly, and help maintain the refined atmosphere our guests love.
This is a busy tearoom, so confidence, efficiency, and polished presentation are essential.
Key Responsibilities; Tea Service
- Prepare loose‑leaf teas with correct brewing times
- Serve tea confidently and efficiently
- Keep tea service flowing during busy periods
- Present teaware neatly and consistently
☕ Barista Duties
- Prepare espresso‑based drinks promptly and consistently
- Texture milk smoothly; simple latte art preferred
- Maintain grind calibration and machine cleanliness
- Present drinks neatly and professionally
Seasonal Drinks
Simple, elegant, quick‑assembly drinks such as:
- Seasonal specials (summer spritz, autumn spiced drinks, Christmas warmers)
- Beautiful garnishes (mint, citrus, berries)
Afternoon Tea Support
- Assist with assembling tiered stands
- Deliver stands with confidence and grace
- Work closely with pastry and FOH to maintain flow
- Reset tables quickly and elegantly
General FOH Duties
- Warm, efficient guest interaction
- Calm but fast movement around the tearoom
- Light counter support when needed
- Maintain a tidy, organised service area

- High‑end brunch venue
Skills & Qualities
- Fast, confident worker with polished presentation
- Level 2 Certification in food handling
- Experience in FOH paper work

- Strong barista skills
- Soft‑spoken, well‑presented, professional
