Artigiano Espresso & Wine Bars
We are looking for a supervisor for our Exeter branch, starting as soon as possible.
The position is full time, the salary is very competitive and based on experience.
Job description:
- Responsibility for leading and motivating team members
- Ensure that the team are fully briefed and trained on food and drink products, and on any promotional activity, as appropriate
- Ensure the duty manager is notified of any performance issues immediately, e.g. lateness, discrepancies, incidents
- Assist in implementing and driving promotional activities
- Ensure team members deliver the relevant upselling
- Ensure wastage is managed and reported
- Lead by example to ensure that the highest possible levels of customer service are delivered by team members at all times
- Ensure the business is clean, tidy and well presented at all times
- Ensure the team serves all products to company and brand specification
- Manage the stock by placing orders and carrying out stock takes.
- Responsibility for opening and closing the store when required.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Several years’ experience working in retail/hospitality industry.
- Knowledge and interest in coffee, wine, cocktails and food.
- An outgoing and enthusiastic personality.
- Leadership skills.
- Good English Language
- Self-motivated and able to work in a busy environment
