We are looking for a reliable and experienced Chef / Cook to run our busy kitchen. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the preparation of food to a high standard. Serving customers and handling payments. Maintaining stock levels and overseeing deliveries.
This is a hands-on role where you'll be working independently, so you'll need to be organised, motivated, and able to manage your own workload.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking fresh food to a high standard
- Managing the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and cleanliness
- Ensuring the kitchen is fully compliant with Environmental Health standards
- Stock rotation and organisation
- Cleaning kitchen equipment and work areas
- Maintaining high standards of food safety at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience as a chef or cook
- Good knowledge of food hygiene and Environmental Health requirements
- Ability to work independently
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Excellent organisational skills
What We Offer
- £14.00 per hour
- Daytime hours only (7:00am–2:30pm)
- No evening shifts
