Job Overview
We are a furniture manufacturer producing wooden drawer boxes and components for the Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom industry. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality finishes to furniture pieces and components, ensuring a high quality finish. Responsibilities
- Prepare furniture surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Mix and match paints, stains, and finishes accurately to achieve desired color matches.
- Operate spray guns, power tools, and hand tools safely and efficiently to apply paint or lacquer coatings evenly across various furniture components.
- Maintaining a clean and organised spray area.
- Inspect finished products for consistency, smoothness, and defect-free surfaces before packaging or delivery.
- Maintain equipment by cleaning spray guns, replacing filters, and performing routine maintenance tasks.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a professional furniture sprayer.
- Strong knowledge of water-based primers and lacquers.
- Familiarity with basic math for mixing paints and calculating coverage areas.
The hours of work are 6.00am to 2.30pm, Monday to Friday with a 30 minute unpaid break.
