We are seeking a talented and passionate beauty therapist to join our dynamic team at our very busy, centrally located salon in Holt. As a beauty therapist, you will be responsible for providing high quality beauty treatments and services to clients, ensuring they leave feeling rejuvenated and satisfied. You will play a key role in enhancing the overall client experience through exceptional customer service and expertise in various beauty technics.
This job is based on a rent a chair and we open Tuesday-Saturday.
Responsibilities
- Provide a range of beauty treatments, including facials, manicures, pedicures, tinting and hair removal services.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitised and ready for use.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing tailored advice on beauty products and services.
- Upsell additional services and products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Manage appointments effectively, ensuring timely service delivery while accommodating client schedules.
- Utilise social media platforms to promote services, share beauty tips, and engage with clients online.
- Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when handling client inquiries or bookings.
- Stay updated on the latest beauty trends, techniques, and products to provide informed recommendations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Beautician or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with clients.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service delivery during busy periods.
- Organisational skills to maintain an orderly workspace and manage appointments effectively.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing inventory.
- Experience in social media management is preferred for promoting salon services.
