Job Overview
We are seeking a professional PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) Driver to operate passenger transport vehicles safely and efficiently. Duties
- Safely operate PCV vehicles, 16 seaters only, in accordance with traffic laws and company policies
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure optimal operation
- Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing courteous support and information as needed
- Plan routes effectively to ensure timely arrivals and departures
- Communicate clearly with dispatchers and passengers, addressing any queries or concerns professionally
- Maintain accurate records of journeys, mileage, and vehicle condition
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a secure environment for passengers and staff
Requirements
- Valid PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) licence with relevant driving experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or commercial driver, preferably with passenger transport experience
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate vehicles safely under varying road conditions
- Good organisational skills to manage schedules efficiently
- Previous experience in passenger transport or delivery roles is advantageous
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service
