We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Office Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene within our office environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all communal areas, workspaces, and facilities are kept in a pristine condition. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment, with an emphasis on attention to detail and reliability. Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. The successful applicant will contribute to creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere for staff and visitors alike.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning of offices, meeting rooms, restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Empty bins and dispose of waste in designated areas
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming as required
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures to ensure a high standard of presentation
- Restock consumables such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels where necessary
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment at all times
- Adhere to company policies regarding cleaning protocols and confidentiality
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous but not mandatory
- Familiarity with cleaning products, equipment, and safety procedures is beneficial
- Attention to detail and organisational skills are essential for maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision whilst adhering to schedules and deadlines
