We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Motor Vehicle Technician to join our team. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using schematics and technical manuals to identify faults in vehicles.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, and electrical components.
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out assembly, disassembly, and repair tasks efficiently.
- Repair or replace damaged parts, including welding components when necessary, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Assist with the maintenance of workshop tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures and recommendations clearly to clients.
- Undertake heavy lifting of vehicle parts or components safely during repair procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed for each vehicle serviced.
Skills
- Strong understanding of schematics and technical diagrams related to vehicle systems.
- Mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle assembly, maintenance, and repair.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment effectively and safely.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and perform diagnostics accurately.
- Experience with equipment repair and routine maintenance tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients.
- Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks and standing for extended periods during repairs.

Pay: £26,025.66-£47,055.38 per year
