We are looking for a Production Team Leader to lead and develop our Production team, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality manufacturing operations while delivering production targets and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate and develop the Production team to achieve safety, quality, delivery and productivity targets.
- Plan and coordinate daily production activities, ensuring schedules are achieved while maintaining high quality standards.
- Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Quality and company procedures.
- Monitor team performance, provide coaching and training, and support employee development and engagement.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste and enhance operational performance.
Job Requirements:
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong organisational, planning and people management skills.
- Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 4, HNC or equivalent) or relevant industry experience.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
