Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team, this is on a rolling freelance basis for locations across London - your own tools and transport is required for this assignment.
The majority of the work we will be assigning you too will be for brand new fire doors to be decorated in various colour schemes - inside and out; ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate will have experience in construction painting and possess excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling cracks or holes to ensure a smooth base for painting
- Be able to paint appropriate colours and finishes to a high standard
- Protect surrounding areas by covering floors, furniture, and fixtures during the painting process
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards
- Complete projects within specified timelines while maintaining quality standards
