Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be proficient in the use of power tools. This role involves assembling structures, ensuring they are plumb and structurally sound. The Carpenter will work on a variety of projects, including Kitchens, Wardrobes and media wals.
Duties
- Fit structures, frameworks, and fixtures according to specifications.
- Install cabinetry with precision.
- Ensure all work is plumb and level, adhering to building codes and safety regulations.
- Operate power tools safely and efficiently for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials.
- Assist with heavy lifting of materials and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to carpentry tasks.
- Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in construction.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with carpentry work.
- Knowledge of electrical systems is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
