Overview
We are looking for a skilled Vehicle Paint Sprayer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to vehicles, ensuring a flawless appearance. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail . Experience in filler work (small dents) would be advantageous but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicles by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas to ensure optimal paint adherence
- Mix paints and primers accurately according to colour codes and specifications
- Operate spray guns and other painting equipment with precision to achieve an even finish
- Apply multiple coats of paint, lacquer, or protective coatings as required
- Polish vehicles to the required standard
- Use hand tools and power tools for surface preparation and finishing tasks
- Conduct quality checks on painted surfaces, rectifying any imperfections promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer or in a similar automotive refinishing role
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to vehicle painting tasks
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling vehicle parts or materials safely
- Attention to detail with a focus on achieving high-quality finishes
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
No formal qualifications are required, just lots of hands on experience
Your working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm - NO WEEKEND WORKING.
Occasional overtime may be available.
Holiday entitlement is 20 days per annum PLUS Bank Holidays.
