Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Nursery Deputy Manager to join our passionate team. In this vital leadership role, you will support the management team in delivering exceptional childcare services, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children. Your leadership will inspire staff, foster positive relationships with families, and uphold the nursery’s high standards of care and education.
Duties
- Assist the Nursery Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and nursery policies
- Support the planning and implementation of engaging early childhood activities tailored to different age groups
- Lead and motivate team members, promoting a collaborative and professional work environment
- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on children's progress and well-being
- Ensure health, safety, and hygiene protocols are rigorously followed at all times
- Contribute to staff training, development, and performance evaluations to enhance team skills
- Support recruitment efforts by participating in interviews and onboarding new staff members
Qualifications
- Proven management and leadership experience within a childcare or nursery setting
- Extensive experience working with children, particularly in early childhood education environments
- Strong understanding of childcare regulations, health & safety standards, and best practices in early years provision
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Childcare qualifications such as Level 3 Early Years Educator or equivalent are highly desirable
- Valid driving license is preferred to facilitate operational needs or outings when required

Pay: £32,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
