We're looking for a Support Driver to join our Anglian Water framework team based in Ipswich or Norwich.

Hours: 45 hours per week

Our Natural Resources division brings the built environment to life, keeping people and businesses connected. In this role, you'll be working on our Anglian Water framework, where we install new assets, repair and maintain services to provide reliable, efficient, and high-quality drinking water to the region. You'll be supporting teams with mainlaying, pressure management, district metering and large complex mains repairs whilst managing a small depot and delivering essential items to operational teams across Norfolk and Suffolk.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Support Driver, you'll be working within the operational teams, supporting them in delivering essential water services. Your day to day will include:
- Driving a 3.5t pick up across the region to support repair and maintenance teams
- Delivering plant, tools, equipment and materials as required
- Managing depot housekeeping and simple stock control of fittings, traffic management equipment and tools
- Completing compliance tasks such as daily vehicle inspections and recording findings electronically
- Supporting construction teams on site to cover leave and sickness when needed
What are we looking for?
This role of Support Driver is great for you if:
- You hold a Full driving licence with towing experience
- You have basic knowledge of IT and Microsoft Office
- You're comfortable working safely without direct supervision and staying in communication
- You're physically fit as this can be a demanding role at times
- You have construction, civils or utilities experience
