Customer Service Champion – Edinburgh
We are looking for an energetic, reliable and customer-focused Customer Service Champion to join our busy Edinburgh forecourt retail team.
This is a hands-on role where no two shifts are the same. You will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service while helping maintain high standards across the store, forecourt and food-to-go areas.
As a Customer Service Champion, you will be expected to take ownership of your shift, engage positively with customers and work as part of a team to ensure the site remains clean, safe, well-stocked and ready for trade at all times.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing friendly, professional and efficient customer service
- Serving customers and operating the till accurately
- Maintaining excellent store and forecourt standards
- Replenishing stock and ensuring shelves remain full, clean and well presented
- Preparing and maintaining food-to-go and hot food areas
- Supporting promotional activity and customer loyalty initiatives
- Carrying out cleaning and housekeeping duties throughout the site
- Monitoring stock, availability and product presentation
- Following all health & safety, food safety, security and company procedures
- Working closely with colleagues and management to achieve site targets
What we are looking for:
We are looking for people with the right attitude above everything else. You should be dependable, hardworking and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
You will need to be confident dealing with customers, capable of working independently when required and willing to take responsibility rather than waiting to be told what needs done.
Previous retail, forecourt, hospitality or customer service experience is advantageous, but full training will be provided to the right candidate.
This role will suit someone who takes pride in doing things properly, enjoys working with people and wants to be part of a high-performing team.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
